Denis Itumbi the head of Presidential Special Projects and Creative Economy has revealed how the impeached deputy President Rigathi Gachagua beat him up in Eldoret Lodge.
In a post on his social media on October 20, 2024, Itumbi revealed letting go of the past hurts inflicted on him by Gachagua.
Itumbi, ‘s statement read in part, “I choose to let go of past hurts, including the moment on August 15th, 2024, at Eldoret State Lodge, when you threatened to wait for me to get to the President’s office so that you can Kick, Slap, Punch and later finish me and all that in full view of Security, colleagues and the President’s Secretary.”
“I believe in the power of forgiveness, and I release that burden with grace,” Itumbi further added.
At the same time, Denis extended his heartfelt wishes to Gachagua for a swift recovery and continued success in all his future endeavours.
In addition, Itumbi dedicated to Gachagua the final paragraph of the timeless Desiderata citing that in the spirit of peace and healing, I dedicate to you the opening of the final paragraph of the timeless Desiderata. He urged him to read it when he finds time.

Itumbi Desiderata Dedication to Gachagua
Denis went on to dedicate to the ailing Gachagua the opening of the last paragraph of Desiderata which hints at peace that may be in silence. The beginning of the text cited that as far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
“And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, ” the dedicated text read in part.
Further, the text cited, “And whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.”
Furthermore, the Desiderata text urged the avoidance of loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself thus vindicating his alleged situation with the former Deputy President.

Gachagua Itumbi War
The National Assembly majority Leader Kimani Inchung’wah revealed on October 17 that the Eldoret State Lodge meeting turned chaotic.
In an interview, Kimani revealed that Gachagua grabbed Denis by the collar and threatened him for not tweeting as directed.
“When some people attain power and access to state resources, their true nature comes to light. I don’t know how else to describe a person holding high office, who walks into a meeting at a State Lodge and grabs the collar of a junior officer,” Ichung’wah asserted during the interview as he referred to Gachagua.
