Kenya Airways (KQ), Kenya’s national carrier, has announced discounts for international and domestic flights.
In a notice dated May 26, KQ said customers can enjoy up to 15% off on return flights to select destinations.
The offer is in partnership with Mastercard25.
Customers can apply promo code Mastercard25 when booking through the KQ website or mobile app, which is available on both the Play Store and Apple Store.
Discounts off base fare for international flights are up to 15% off, while domestic flights to Kisumu and Mombasa have up to 7% off.
Kenya Airways said the sales period will run until May 31, 2025, while the travel period runs until November 30, 2025.
Besides, the blackout period is between July 1 and August 31, 2025
“Applicable on Kenya Airways-operated flights only and return Journey only,” Kenya Airways said.
The market fare penalties, applicable fare differences, and change fees will apply for any changes made to the tickets outside.
Additionally, KQ said the discounts are applicable on published fares only, excluding taxes and surcharges.

Kenya Airways Terms and Conditions
KQ explained that the offer is valid for all Mastercard consumer cards (prepaid, debit, and credit)
“To avail the offer, bookings must be made online using the promotion code MASTERCARD25 between the campaign sales dates, for travel between the campaign travel dates,” Kenya Airways explained.
Bookings must be made online, via the Kenya Airways website, and paid for using a qualifying Mastercard.
Besides the campaign sales period, eligible for offer to start on May 5, 2025, and end on May 31, 2025.
The promo code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer(s) or promotional fares.

Differences in Fare & Booking
KQ also stated that fares may differ due to currency fluctuations and/or government tax regulations based on the journey booked.
“The discount is applicable on the base fare excluding any carrier-imposed charges or government taxes,” read part of the notice.
The flight tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking, and airfare may change without notice unless the airfare is already ticketed.
Kenya Airways and Mastercard also reserve the right to update the Terms and Conditions of this offer without prior notice.
