A bizarre incident happened in Kirinyanga County after a man’s genitals were chopped off by a local butcher over a Ksh50 debt dispute.
Speaking on Saturday, February 8, the victim Jepither Muthii narrated the order from his Kerugoya County Referral Hospital bed after a major surgery.
Muthii said he went to ask for his balance of Ksh50 on Friday after working for the main suspect, Isaac Gachoka.
Instead, Gachoka stabbed him several times in his genitals, inexplicably angry.
“Jamaa alinivuta kwa nguvu ndani akaanza kuniumiza sehemu ya chini hadi ikatokana yote,” narrated Muthii.
With the pain still very much a reality after surgery, Muthii is not sure whether he will ever walk out of this facility as the bills continue to pile.
Nurse Updates on His Condition
Jane Muchoki, a nurse at the hospital, said he had a cut wound at the scrotum which exposed the testis.
“He came to this facility with serious wounds and after an operation, we have managed to rectify the scrotum. For no,w his genitals are safe.”

Plea Justice & Help
Muthii asked investigative agencies to hunt and arrest the suspect.
He said Gachoka should cater for the hospital bills and his personal needs until he recovers.
“I asking that the suspect should be arrested so that he come and pay this bill. Afterwards, I will leave the rest to God” he said.

Kirinyanga Residents Demand Justice
On Friday evening, chaos rocked Kutus Market as angry residents engaged police in running battles.
The locals flattened the main suspect’s business premises amid calls for justice.
“The police officers were protecting him. We got angry and chased him out of this place. We don’t need his business here,” said one of the residents.
“It will be bad if the victim fails to get justice because it seems he has no one to talk to,” another resident said.
A multi-agency team has been deployed to pursue Gachoka who has since gone into hiding.
