ODM Picks Late MP’s Brother As Rabai Constituency Candidate

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has picked the late Rabai MP William Kamoti’s younger brother as the candidate for the Rabai parliamentary seat.

Mohamed Mdigo Mwamkale, a former chairperson of the Mariakani town council will seek to secure the seat his late brother was set to defend in the August 9 polls

Mwamkale was Kaliang’ombe ward councilor in Kaloleni constituency from 2002 to 2007

Kamoti who was buried on Monday perished in a road crash along the Kilifi-Mombasa highway on Sunday night.

He was on his way home after securing clearance by IEBC to defend his seat.
