PSC Announces Mass Recruitment in Ministry of Education

The Public Service Commission – PSC has announced mass recruitment in the Ministry of Education under the state department for vocational and technical training (TVET).

In an advertisement on Tuesday, March 5, the ministry through PSC invited interested and qualified applicants to apply for the positions in different technical institutions.

“Applications are invited from qualified Degree, Higher National Diploma and Diploma holders for the positions of Vocational and Technical Trainers avail in the following Vocational and Technical Training Institutions,” said PSC.

In Busia, the Commission announced vacancies in Dr. Daniel Wako Murende Technical and Vocational College (9), Mungatsi Technical and Vocational College (9), Okame Technical and Vocational College (10) and Butula Technical and vocational college (7).

At the same time, Bumbe TVET has 11 openings while Chamasiri Technical College has 9.

Ministry of Education Jobs in Nairobi

In Nairobi City County, the Commission announced vacancies as follows Kabete National Polytechnic (16), Nairobi Technical Training Institute (16), Kenya School of TVET (15), Kibra Technical (3) and PC Kinyajui Institute (12).

PSC further announced jobs at Kasarani Technical Institute (11), Kamukunji Technical College (7) and Lang’ata Technical College (5).

Mombasa Mass Recruitment

15 vacancies at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic, 7 at Ahmed Shahame Mwidani Technical Insitute and 7 at Likoni TVET.

Kisumu

A total of 59 job vacancies were announced in Kisumu County.

Out of these, 16 are at available at the Kisumu National Polytechnic, Nyando Technical College (5), 12 at the Ramogi Institute of Advanced Technology (RIAT), Seme Technical College (10) and Nyakach Technical College (9).

“Interested and qualified candidates are requested to submit their applications directly to the institutions where vacancies exist by filling one PSC 2 (revised 2016) application form and attaching copies of National ID card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts and any other testimonials so as to reach the respective Boards/Councils on or before 19th March 2024 latest 5pm East African Times,” said PSC.

Nakuru

In Nakuru County, PSC advertised vacancies in Naivasha Technical College (7), Gilgil Technical College (5), Heroes Technical College (5), Molo Elburgon Technical College (9), Njoro Technical College (7) and Total Technical College (9).

Baringo County

There are 12 positions in Baringo Technical College, 10 in Emining Technical Training Institute and 9 in Eldama Ravine Technical and Vocational College.

PSC also advertised vacancies in Kapchepkor technical and Vocational College (7), Mochongoi Technical & Vocational College (5) and North Rift Technical College (5).

Bomet

There are vacancies in Sot Technical Training Institute (12),  Sotik Technical Training Institute (11), Konoin Technical Training Institute (10), Chepalungu Technical and Vocational College (7) and Bomet Central TVET (9).

Bungoma 

Besides, the Commission announced 88 vacancies in different institutions in Bungoma County.

These positions are distributed as follows: Kisiwa Institute (15), Matili Institute (12), Sang’alo Insitute of Science and Technology (16), Cardinal Maurice Otunga TVET (5), Bungoma North TVET (10), Musakasa Technical Training (10), Sirisia Technical College (9) and Webuye West Technical College (11).

“The application form maybe downloaded from the Commission website www.publicservice.go.ke,” added the Commission.

Other Counties

Additionally, 14 opportunities were advertised in various institutions in Elgeyo Marakwet while Embu County has 35 vacancies.

There are 25 vacancies in Garissa County, 58 in Homa bay County, 5 in Isiolo and 33 in Kajiado County.

Kakamega County has 101 vacancies while 58 opportunities have been announced in Kericho County.

Kiambu County has 71 vacancies, Kilifi (23), Kirinyanga (21), Kisii (63), Kitui (29), Kwale (22) and Laikipia (19).

“Successful candidates will be required to apply for licensing and registration by the TVET Authority,” added PSC.

Further, PSC advertised 5 vacancies in Lamu, 45 in Machakos, 26 in Makueni, 22 in Mandera and 16 in Marsabit County.

PSC invited applications for 86 positions in Meru, 58 in Migori and another 61 in Murang’a.

There are 60 vacancies in Nandi, 34 in Narok, 41 in Nyamira , 37 in Nyandarua and 62 in Nyeri County.

Other counties have vacancies as follows: Samburu (16), Siaya (60), Taita Taveta (29), Tana River (17), Tharaka Nithi (27), Trans Nzoia (41), Turkana (36), Uasin Gishu (83), Vihiga (39), Wajir (15) and West Pokot (9).
