Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has once again proven to the world why he is called the President of African comedy.
Well, to deserve the title Eric Omondi not only filled up stadiums and sealed massive deals but also raked in millions of shillings while at it.

Erico Omondi recently shared with the world about the highest amount of money he has ever been paid for his creative works.
The comedian revealed that KSh 2.2 million is the highest amount of money a single client has ever paid him for a few minutes of his time to entertain the masses.

Speaking during an interview with Mambo Mseto, Eric Omondi disclosed a Tanzanian bank once paid him KSh 2.2 million to entertain guests during their gala event.
According to Eric Omondi, he was tasked with coming up with customised jokes for the bank and entertaining guests during a gala.

”The most I have ever been paid is KSh 2.2 million. And it was in Tanzania. A Tanzanian bank had organised an event dubbed One Man, One Mic. They were doing a launch and after the launch, there was some sort of a gala. I have been paid more before but for this, it was a lot considering the time I was supposed to entertain people,” Eric Omondi disclosed.
The comedian has in the recent past been blasting local promoters for flying in foreign artists and ignoring Kenyan stars.
Eric Omondi even launched a campaign to see no foreign artists performs in Kenyan show that has no local acts on the list of performers.
He promised to disrupt any event with foreign headliners and zero local artists.
