The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is looking for a man alleged to have burnt his ex-lover at Njiru within Nairobi County on Thursday.
The man is said to be on the run after he tied his ex-lover on the bed and set her ablaze inside her house.
Two house helps who were employed by the deceased said they had been asked to leave the house to allow the deceased, and the suspect some private time to iron out their issues.
Later in the afternoon, the house went up in flame and despite the efforts to put out the fire, nothing was salvaged.
Kayole based detectives are working jointly with the DCI’s Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) in the manhunt.
