Former TV47 presenter Flora Limukii has joined Consumer News and Business Channel Africa (CNBC Africa), days after announcing her exit from Cape Media Africa.
Limukii announced her new role at the CNBC, whose headquarters are based in South Africa, through her social media account on December 25.
“Just as the birth of Jesus Christ was good news, I am elated to announce that I will be joining CNBC Africa in Rwanda. See you in Kigali,” announced the presenter.
In addition, this significant move comes just days after her heartfelt departure from TV47 as she expressed gratitude to her former colleagues, friends, and online fans.
Limukii stated, “Today, I leave with my head high and a way better person professionally.”

CNBC Africa is an African pay television network launched on 1 June 2007 and Founded by Rakesh Wahi and Zafar Siddiqi.
Furthermore, the network is produced under license from CNBC International and is owned by Africa Business News.
The channel features programs and updates from CNBC Europe, India, Pakisatan, the Middle East, the US and other CNBC affiliates around the world.

Notably, the journalist, whose star is meteorically rising, made her TV 47 exit announcement live on air after hosting her last breakfast show on Wednesday, December 20.
Limukii took the chance to bid farewell to her colleagues and fans as she expressed her gratitude to the company.
Flora Limukii Announces TV47 Exit
Without divulging too much, Limukii further revealed that she had decided to leave TV47 to pursue other interest.
“After 1 year and close to 5 months at TV47, today marks my last day on air, time has come to explore another venture.
I’m grateful to the management, colleagues and friends whom I have forged a great relationship with over time,” said Limukii.
In addition, the TV presenter also acknowledged the online support she received which she states has helped her grow her brand.
“Many thanks to my online fans as well and your contribution in growing my online brand visibility.

Likewise, Flora Limukii one of the most vibrant Generation-Z reporters has showcased her interests in political reporting and has since explored the niche in various newsrooms.
Her journey includes being poached by Switch Media in 2021, a stint at KBC, and a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nairobi in 2023.
Cape Media, owned by billionaire Simon Gicharu, played a pivotal role in her career. In addition, Limukii now joins the ranks of notable media personalities at CNBC Africa.
