Super Metro has announced the launch of a new bus route to Rongai, marking the latest expansion of its growing transport network in Nairobi and its surrounding areas.
The addition of this route is aimed at enhancing connectivity for commuters and addressing rising demand in the region.

The company charges fares starting from Ksh 100 on major routes across Nairobi, with prices varying depending on the time of travel.
New Rongai Route Now Operational
Super Metro has announced that the new route will start being operational on March 30, 2026, providing direct and convenient service between Nairobi and the Rongai area.

The route has been added to Super Metro’s other existing network, which includes more than 15 key locations including Nairobi CBD, Makongeni, Thika, Juja, Roysambu, Westlands, Kikuyu, Mfangano, Bus Station, Malaa, Kitengela, Kabiria, Ngong, Juja Farm, Regen, Kinoo, Mfangano and Kahawa West.
Addressing Commuter Challenges
Commuters along the Rongai corridor have long faced challenges due to limited public transport options, leading to long queues and extended travel times.
The expansion also follows commuters’ requests who wanted the company to be operational in the Rongai region.
