Two people have been allegedly shot and killed during confrontations between police and residents in Ishiara, Mbeere North, Embu County, following protests over the poor state of Ishiara Level 4 Hospital.
The incident has sparked tension in the area, with residents accusing security officers of using excessive force during what had begun as peaceful demonstration.
