The Kenya Rugby Union has announced several watch party venues ahead of the HSBC series tournament on February 14 and 15.
The HSBC SVNS 2 rugby sevens tournament, which will be hosted at Nyayo Stadium, has attracted participation across the country because it will be held on a weekend and on Valentine’s Day. Tickets for the 2-day event have already sold out.
In partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, KRU has organized venues across Nairobi for Kenyans to watch the matches.
Official Watch Party Venues Announced
To ensure Kenyans and rugby lovers don’t miss the action, several party venues have been announced where people can watch the matches.

The named locations include:
- 1824 (next to Total Madaraka, Aerodrome Road),
- Cavalli The Manor in Westlands,
- Covo Hurlingham (formerly Tamasha Hurlingham and Guava)
- Matteos in Karen (near Dari)
- Beerbirds on the 1st Floor of Prestige Plaza
- Tin N Lit near Garden City on Thika Superhighway
- Orchid Lounge at RFUEA Grounds
- 213 Lavington
- Smokey BBQ 254 on Kanjata Road off James Gichuru Road
- Konqa on the Northern Bypass next to Two Rivers
- Manhattan at Imaara Mall on Mombasa Road
KBC to televise the tournament
Kenyan national television has also announced that it will televise the tournament.
This will cater to individuals who are not in Nairobi and those far from the watch party venues. The coverage will include all matches played on 14th and 15th February.
To watch the matches on KBC, one needs a TV with an in-built decoder or a decoder, paid or free-to-air, since KBC is free to watch.

Other Ways to watch the tournament
HSBC has also announced that the games will be streamed online via Rugby’s official digital streaming platform, RugbyPass TV.
The streaming is free, but users must create an account to watch all games.
RugbyPass TV is a global service that will provide rugby fans around the world with access to rugby content, available on phones and computers.
HSBC also partners with SuperSport, a global sports broadcaster, and all the matches will be broadcast on the service.
