Gor Mahia Football club head coach Andreas Spiers has parted ways with the club.
The club announced the departure of Spiers following the expiry of his six months contract.
The announcement was made on Gor Mahia’s official Facebook account on Tuesday, June 5.
“We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Andreas Spiers. His contract ended and we are now in the market for a new coach. We wish him well,” read the statement.
Spiers joined Gor Mahia as head coach on February 1, 2022.
Previously, he had served as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) technical director in charge of training coaches.
He also served as Eintracht Frankfurt’s Technical Director, and also as a head coach for Romania U18-U19 National team between 2014 and 2016.
