Ichung’wah Attacks Gachagua Over Flight
A section of Members of Parliament (MPs) questioned the allocation of funds to Gachagua’s office after he boarded a commercial plane to Mombasa.
Led by Ichung’wah, the MPs criticized Gachagua’s decision to use a Kenya Airways (KQ) commercial flight and even carry his own luggage while boarding the plane on June 11, 2024.
According to him, the DP was assigned a police chopper, which was still under maintenance, hence his decision to use private choppers.
At the same time, senior Kenya Kwanza leaders allied to President William Ruto including Ichung’wah have insisted that the Deputy President is attempting to destabilize the administration from within using ethnic politics.
“If you want to become the president of Kenya, work in the position you have been given today, to deliver to the people of Kenya. When your time comes, they will see leadership in you.
“But if you seek to sabotage the government of Kenya for your own selfish gains, you will go absolutely nowhere,” he said.
