President Donald Trump has taken sides in the ongoing dispute among highly regarded conservative media personalities, which has captured the attention of the MAGA movement.
On Sunday night, March 15, Trump publicly sided with radio host and political commentator Mark Levin concerning the current situation in the Middle East and the U.S. involvement.
The President took to Truth Social and showered Levin with praise, calling him a “truly great American patriot” and a steadfast conservative voice.
“Mark Levin, a truly Great American Patriot, is somewhat under siege by other people with far less Intellect, Capability, and Love for our Country. Mark is Tough, Strong, and Brilliant,” Trump said in part.
Trump went further, telling off Levin’s critics and suggesting some were motivated by jealousy or personal animosity rather than genuine policy disagreements.
The President took sides amid the ongoing war of words and insults between Levin and former television anchor Megyn Kelly.

The duo has been attacking each other on different platforms, particularly on their respective podcasts, social media handles, and political commentary shows.
The disputes between these two top MAGA figures originated from the ongoing war between Iran and the United States. However, personal insults have dominated much of the back-and-forth, and not the policies they disagreed on.
Levin, who now enjoys Trump’s endorsement, has strongly supported the administration’s aggressive stance toward Tehran. He believes that for peace to exist, taking offensive measures like the ones the U.S. and Israel are taking against Iran cannot be avoided.
He has been opining that firm and decisive action is necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
On the other hand, Kelly, who now hosts her own independent podcast after leaving Fox News, has taken a sharply different view.
Just like another former Fox News journalist, Tucker Carlson, she has questioned whether escalating confrontation with Iran serves American interests. She has been warning about the risks of deeper U.S. military involvement in the Middle East.

Levin accused Kelly of reckless commentary, while Kelly fired back with equally harsh criticism, accusing him of using rhetoric that could encourage unnecessary conflict. Their fights went viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from across conservative media.
Trump’s intervention
By openly siding with Levin, Trump could be seeking to reinforce a more assertive foreign-policy approach often summarized as “peace through strength.”
According to Trump, the U.S. must take any available measure to stop Iran from going nuclear. He believes that with nukes, Iran can go after Israel and wipe that nation from the World map or even go after the U.S.
As one of the key measures to stop Iran, the U.S. military operation has been underway, aimed at Iranian-connected assets. According to reports, this action has intensified pressure on Tehran.
Over the weekend, Trump disclosed that he’d contacted several nations, requesting the deployment of their warships to protect commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the crucial shipping lane.
Reaction online has been swift and divided.
Supporters of Levin praised the president’s statement, describing the commentator as a loyal advocate for conservative principles and national security.
Levin himself later took to social media and thanked President Trump for siding with him, noting that Trump has made the world a ‘safer’place, and he deserves to be supported by all Americans.
“Your courage, strength, and moral clarity are truly unparalleled. And your leadership has made our country and the world much safer,” Levin posted on X, adding, “Both you and what you are doing deserve our support. And I will not be intimidated or bow to threats.
Kelly’s supporters, meanwhile, criticized the intervention, warning that internal disputes could weaken unity among conservatives at a time when foreign policy debates are already intensifying.
