The fate of President Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, has been confirmed following a road accident involving her boyfriend, Tiger Woods.
Woods was involved in a rollover car crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday, March 27, 2026. However, his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, and her daughters were not in the vehicle, according to Page Six.
The accident occurred around 2 p.m. near 281 Beach Road, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. Woods’ Range Rover SUV was photographed on its side following the crash.
While his condition remains unclear, TMZ reported that a witness at the scene said Woods appeared “OK.” Sheriff John Budensiek is scheduled to hold a press conference at 5 p.m. to provide further details.

The Sheriff’s Office also told ESPN that Woods’ condition was not immediately known. Later, the Sheriff said that Tiger was arrested after being involved in a car crash in which he showed “signs of impairment.”
“Woods did a breathalyzer test, blew triple zeros, but when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused, and so he’s been charged with DUI, with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test,” Sheriff John Budensiek said.
A source told Page Six that neither Vanessa Trump—whom Woods has been dating since March 2025—nor her daughters, Kai or Chloe, were in the SUV at the time of the crash.

It remains unclear whether Woods was alone. The incident comes just days after Woods competed in the TGL championship, during which Vanessa Trump and her daughter, Kai, were seen in the stands supporting him.
The pair publicly confirmed their relationship last year, with Woods posting on Instagram:
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.”
Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., is the mother of five children, including Kai, who is pursuing a golf career and has even competed in tournaments alongside Woods’ son, Charlie.
The blended family dynamic has drawn attention, particularly as Kai and Charlie have both been seen competing in junior tournaments.
The crash is the latest in a series of troubling incidents for Woods behind the wheel. In 2021, he suffered severe leg injuries in a California accident that sidelined him for an entire season.
In 2017, he was arrested for driving under the influence in Jupiter Island after taking prescription medication.
Despite these setbacks, Woods staged a remarkable comeback in 2019, winning the Masters for the fifth time in what many considered one of the greatest sporting comebacks of all time.
Since then, however, his performance has faltered. In his last 26 majors, Woods has managed only four top 20 finishes, with his best recent result being a tie for 37th at the 2020 PGA Championship. His longest drought without a top 20 finish dates to the early years of his career in 1995 and 1996.
Earlier this month, Woods ruptured his Achilles tendon ahead of the Masters, forcing him to miss significant competitive play.
His return at the TGL championship earlier this week was seen as a hopeful sign, with Vanessa Trump and her daughter Kai cheering him on from the stands.
President Donald Trump even weighed in on Woods’ future, telling Fox News’ The Five that Woods would be at Augusta this year but not playing.
Relationship with Vanessa Trump
The crash also comes at a time when Woods and Vanessa Trump have been more public about their relationship.
Just days before the accident, the couple shared a kiss and hug on the golf course during the TGL finals in Palm Beach Gardens, according to The Palm Beach Post.

The embrace was widely photographed and reported, signaling a new chapter in Woods’ personal life after years of keeping relationships private.
Vanessa Trump’s Instagram page describes her as “Balancing motherhood of 5 amazing kiddies!” and is filled with photos of Kai golfing.
Fox News has reported that Vanessa and Woods generally keep their relationship low-profile, but their recent public appearances suggest a willingness to share more of their journey.
As of Friday evening, authorities have not released details on the cause of the crash or Woods’ condition.
Updates are expected following the Sheriff’s press briefing with fans, and the golfing world awaits clarity on whether Woods sustained injuries and what this means for his already uncertain future in professional golf.
