The popular Alchemist joint in Nairobi, Westlands area is on the spot yet again after one of their bouncers was caught on camera harassing a female reveller.
This comes barely a month after the bar was temporarily closed due to allegations of racial discrimination and noise pollution.
In the current case, the video making rounds on social media shows a female Alchemist bouncer dragging a woman on the floor at the entrance as if trying to get her out of the club as other security guards look on, doing nothing.
Moreover, the reveller then goes back to the entrance and tries to fight a male bouncer who allows her to proceed before she is blocked from going in the club by two other bouncers. After the struggle, she sits on the ground and is left alone on the side of the entrance.

According to Mwikali who posted the video on Sunday, June 26, then two bouncers told her to erase the video when they realized she had filmed the dramatic scene.
“However, the bouncers didn’t stop there. At the end of the video, you can see some people realizing that I’ve been filming. In the moments after, two bouncers came upstairs and demanded that I delete the video,” Mwikali said in a Twitter post.
“I refused and I asked if I could leave but they stood in front of me, and one of them tried to grab my arm. I told them not to touch me and that I wanted to leave. They stood in front of me and said they would get the manager first,” she added.
Furthermore, when the manager arrived, Mwikali noted that he allowed her keep the video and promised to go check what was happening downstairs and inform her.
Nevertheless, the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear. However, several netizens have condemned the incident and called for the club to be shutdown.
