Musician Nviiri Sande popularly known as Nviiri the storyteller has officially left Sol Generation Records after five years.
In a statement on April 15, Nviiri thanked his fans and fellow artists under the Sol General Records for their support since he joined the group.
“Dear fans, friends, and fellow music enthusiasts. It is with immense gratitude and excitement that we announce the culmination of a remarkable chapter in Nviiri the Storyteller’s musical journey,” the statement reads in part.
He thanked the Sauti Sol music group for supporting and nurturing his talents adding that the record transformed his music career.
Nviiri said Sol generation provided him with a platform to build his music career and artistic vision.
“Through their unwavering belief in Nviiri’s talent and artistic vision, we’ve witnessed the evolution of a true musical gem,” he said.
“From chart-topping hits to soul-stirring performances! As we turn the page to a new chapter, we carry with us the lessons learned, the memories cherished, and the bonds forged.”

The storyteller revealed his excitement to start a new era in his musical career which he termed as the Genesis, noting that he carries with him lessons learned, cherished memories as well as the bonds forged.

He further stated that the new chapter was characterized by boundless creativity, audacious innovation and expertise.
“Amidst this bittersweet moment, we are thrilled to unveil the dawn of a new era for Nviiri the Storyteller, marked by boundless creativity, audacious innovation, and global resonance.” The statement read.
Likewise, the musician introduced his new team of managers whom he expressed confidence in and acknowledged that they bring a wealth of experience, passion, and expertise to the table.
They Include Maisha Wirth who will serve as his manager and visual director, Jamie Alderson who comes in as his international manager and Indiya Oliver who comes in as an assistant/booking manager.

During his time at Sol generation, Nviiri showed his music prowess with some of his popular songs being Pombe sigara, Niko Sawa, Nikita and several others.
He has also featured in chart- topping collaborations with Mejja, Bensoul and Sautisol in the song Nairobi.
Other artists who were also nurtured at Sol Generation since it’s induction in 2019, include Crystal Asige, Watendawili formerly Kaskazini and Bensoul, who have since left.
