Car dealer Khalif Kairo’s ex-girlfriend Cera Imani has cleared the air on a Diamond necklace worth over Ksh.350,000, allegedly bought for her by Khalif Kairo.
While responding to a fan online, Cera stated that Kairo did not buy her the necklace, but she just fitted it and left it at the shop.
“It is in India at the shop, it didn’t come from there, it was tested and returned,” stated Cera.
Cera made the clarification after an Instagram follower advised her to sell the necklace and assist Kairo who is undergoing a financial crisis.
Khalif Kairo arrested twice for fraud
“Rudisha chain bois alipe madeni cera (Cera returns the chain so that the boy can pay up his debts)” wrote the Instagram user going by the name Spinx Baddest.
While Kairo and Cera were dating, Kairo posted a video of them at a jewellery shop in India. In the video, Cera is seen fitting different kinds of necklaces. Kairo later posted the video stating that the necklace cost Ksh.350,000.

The car dealer has been arrested twice following fraud accusations.
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, Khalif Kairo whose real name is Joseph Kairo Wambui was arrested on allegations of defrauding a client. Kairo is said to have been arrested after failing to deliver a car to a client despite them having paid the full amount.

The arrest was made after Kairo failed to convince the client of his planned trip to New York having not settled the matter.
The car dealer cum influencer while responding to the matter stated that he was to travel for business meetings set to raise funds for his company.

“I had a couple of investor meetings in New York scheduled this week to raise funds for http://kaiandkaro.com. We are targeting a seed investors’ round through a safe instrument. Shoot an email via [email protected] for more info,” said Kairo.
On December 3, 2024, Kairo was arrested for obtaining money from a client for a high-end vehicle that he did not deliver.
Cera Imani and Khalif Kairo confirmed the end of their relationship in 2024, and both of them moved on to new relationships. While Cera has not revealed whom she is dating, Kairo introduced his new girlfriend Wavinya Maria a few months later.
