Campbell Scott, a 58-year-old British Businessman and Senior Director with the data analytics company FICO went missing after leaving the JW Marriot hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, on Sunday, February 16.
To help locate him, officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reached out to Interpol for help to access his phone records.

However, on Monday, February 24, police found Scott’s lifeless body in Makueni forest. Furthermore, a taxi driver and waiter were detained with authorities stating that he was last seen at a Westlands club.
One day, Scott was a high-flying businessman, preparing to discuss global markets with top officials in Nairobi. The next, he was gone. Vanished without a trace from JW Marriot hotel.

Who is Campbell Scott?
Scott is a seasoned executive known as a sharp mind for business and a career that spanned continents.

He joined FICO on October 6, 2014, as the Director of Project management, and has spent years shaping global business strategies, working with top officials from the UK, the US, and Africa.
In December 2020, he was promoted to the position of a senior director at the company. According to his LinkedIn profile, he oversees global regulatory and compliance product management at FICO’s London office.
“Currently at FICO, leading the product management function for international FICO scores, delivering high-quality risk scores and analytics to partners and clients across the globe,” he indicates on his profile.
Before joining FICO, Scott was the New Product Launch Manager at Experian Data Quality in the UK between December 2013 and September 2014.
Also, he served as the Product Development Director and company officer at Equiniti Limited in the UK between April 2007 and March 2013.
Before that, he was a Director at Prosearch Asset Solutions Limited between August 2006 and March 2013.
Further, Scott attended Woodmill High School in Dunfermline and later studied at Kirkcaldy Technical College.

Last Moments Before the Disappearance of the Businessman
Campbell Scott was reported missing on Monday night by a colleague who had travelled with him to Kenya.
Scott checked into the JW Marriott Hotel on Sunday and was last seen leaving the premises around 11:15 am on Monday. When his colleague was unable to reach him by 6 pm, hotel staff advised them to contact the police an hour later.
Hotel management, security personnel, and police immediately launched a search, before senior detectives took over the case.
They unsuccessfully visited hotels and bars in the upscale Westlands area, seeking any leads on Scott’s whereabouts.
“FICO is working with our local partners and local authorities to investigate the matter. We do not have any further information at this time.
“Our thoughts are with Campbell’s family and friends. Please respect his privacy and do not speculate about this situation,” stated FICO.
