SHA-Contracted Health Facilities Across Isiolo County [LIST]

Isiolo County Has Facilities Across Isiolo, Garbatula, And Merti Sub-Counties That The Social Health Authority (Sha) Contracts To Provide Services.

Isiolo County has 50 health facilities across Isiolo, Garbatula, and Merti sub-counties that the Social Health Authority (SHA) contracts to provide medical services.

Residents of Isiolo County can access healthcare services through a network of Level 2, Level 3A, Level 3B, Level 4, and Level 5 facilities, including public, faith-based, and private providers.

Isiolo Sub-County

Isiolo Sub-County facilities include county government, private and faith-based providers.

Among the contracted facilities is the Isiolo County Referral Hospital, a 250-bed Level 5 public hospital.

In addition, the sub-county has Galaxy Hospital Limited, a 70-bed Level 5 private hospital.

Level 4 Hospitals

The Level 4 facilities listed in Isiolo Sub-County include Anka Hospital – Isiolo, Galaxy Hospital Annex-Isiolo, Healthpact Hospital, Isiolo Drug Mart Medical Center, and Isiolo Regional Hospital-Barracks.

Galaxy Hospital Annex-Isiolo is a 50-bed facility, while Isiolo Drug Mart Medical Center has 40 beds. Isiolo Regional Hospital-Barracks is listed with 110 beds.

Level 3 Facilities

County Government Facility: Albani Medical Clinic is a 30-bed Level 3A county government facility.

Private Level 3A facilities include Almas Medical Services, Gateway Point Hospital Limited, Hexagon Medical Limited, Hussein Tarole Medical Center, Isiolo Eye Hospital Ltd, and Sprintlight Hospital Limited.

Level 3B SHA-Approved Facilities

Bifna Medical Clinic with 12 beds, Fa iyya Clinic Isiolo – Bulesa with 10 beds, Galaxy Hospital-Archers Post with 20 beds, Iqra Medical Center and Nursing Home with four beds, Isiolo County Nursing Home with 20 beds, and St. John Paul II AVI Matercare Hospital with 40 beds.

Level 2 Facilities

County Government Facilities: Apu Dispensary; GK Prison Dispensary Isiolo; Kipsing Dispensary; Oldonyiro Dispensary; and Samburu Complex.

Faith-Based Facilities: A.C.K Isiolo Dispensary and Isiolo Catholic Dispensary.

Private Facilities: Dhirre Medical and Eye Clinic, Isiolo Dental Clinic, and Regal Medical Clinic.

Garbatula Sub-County

Garbatula Sub-County has county government and private facilities covering Level 2, Level 3A, Level 3B, and Level 4 services.

Level 4 Hospital

Merti Sub-County Hospital is listed as a 20-bed, Level 4, County Government, SHA-approved facility.

Public Level 3A Facilities

Garbatulla Sub-County Hospital with 30 beds, Kinna Health Center with six beds, and Sericho Health Center with 12 beds.

Private Health Facilities: Fifine Medical Center Limited, Marjayaoun Hospital Limited and Moga Medical Center Limited.

In addition, Chireti Medical Center Ltd is listed as a Level 3B SHA-accredited comprehensive health center.

Level 2 Facilities: Barambate Dispensary, Daaba Dispensary, Duse Dispensary, Gafarsa Health Center, Iresaboru Dispensary and Modogashe Dispensary.

Merti Sub-County

Level 4 Hospital: Merti Sub-County Hospital is a 20-bed county government hospital.

Private Level 3A Facility: Hussein Tarole Medical Center

Private Health Facility: Fa iyya Clinic Isiolo – Bulesa is a 10-bed comprehensive health center.

Public Level 2 Facility: Malka Galla Dispensary with five beds.
