The County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet on Wednesday November 13 announced internships under the “County Public Service Internship Programme (CPSIP) for graduates.
In a job advertisement, the County government asked qualified interested and qualified candidates to send thier applications before the deadline.
“Pursuant to the provision of the County Government Act, No. 17 of 2012 section 45, 59 (1) (b), the Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board is pleased to invite applications from highly qualified results-oriented and self- motivated Kenyan citizens for appointments to the following Internship Positions,” part of the job advertisement read.
According to the Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board, the CPSIP is a government youth empowerment programme whose objective is to offer graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build skills in order to enhance chances for employment, networking and entrepreneurship.

The devolved unit also instructed candidates to obtain further details of the internship description, requirements, roles, and application procedure by logging onto www.elgeyomarakwet.go.ke and clicking on “online recruitments.”

Additionally, the Elgeyo Marakwet County Government said that all communications will be made from the official email: Secretarycpsb@elgeyomarakwet.go.ke or official telephone number 0790570990.
Additional instructions issued to applicants
Moreover, the County government issued the following instructions to applicants which include all applications should be submitted online on or before Tuesday December 3, 2024, through the above-mentioned link.
Only online applications will be accepted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Furthermore, the County government announced that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Applicants were cautioned against submitting forged documents noting that it is a criminal offence to use fake/forged papers and also told applicants that the County does not guarantee employment after completion internship program.
Successful candidates will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
