Kirinyaga County Announces Jobs; How to Apply

The Public Service Board of Kirinyaga County has announced vacancies in the County Public Service.

In an advert on Friday, February 7, the County Public Service Board Chief Executive Officer announced a total of 88 openings within different departments.

“The Kirinyaga County Public Service Board is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified, motivated, and Pro-active Individuals to fill up the following vacant positions,” the advert reads in part.

The openings advertised by the Kirinyaga County Board include permanent and pensionable jobs while some are on a contract basis.

Among the permanent and pensionable jobs include Medical Specialist Pediatrician (1), Senior Youth Polytechnic Instructors-Building & Construction (1), and Senior Youth Polytechnic Instructors-Welding & Fabrication (1).

Other permanent and pensionable positions according to the County Public Service Board include Environment Management Officer (1), Community Development Officer (6), Office Administrator II (2), Superintendent Water Services (4), and Engineering Technologist I (2).

There are also vacancies for Physical Planner (County Valuation Officer)-1, Cleaning Supervisors (5), Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) Teachers (9), Office Administrative Assistant III (1), Revenue Clerks (30), and Youth Polytechnic Instructors III (7).

Vacancies for Youth Polytechnic Instructors have been divided into Building & Construction (2), Carpentry & Joinery (1), Motor Vehicle Mechanic (1), Plumbing (1) and Hair Dressing & Beauty Therapy (2).

On the other hand, the County has announced contract-based vacancies.

Among them include Director ECDE (1), Director Water & Irrigation Services (1), Medical Officers (2), Pharmacists (2), Registered Nurse III (9), and Assistant Public Health Officer III (2).

How to Apply

According to the Public Service board, eligible candidates should submit the applications with copies of academic and professional certificates and other testimonials.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply online using the County Public Service Board cpsb.kirinyaga.go.ke.

Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the County Headquarters 4th floor, Kutus (Office of County Public Service Board between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00p.m. on weekdays), on or before Friday, February 21, 2025.

The applications should be addressed to the Secretary County Public Service Board PO Box 260-10304, KUTUS.
