The Tana River County has invited job applications from qualified candidates for various positions.
In a notice dated January 30, Tana Riber County stated that all applications must be submitted by February 5, 2026, at 12:00 a.m.
“The County Public Service Board of Tana River pursuant to Section 30 the Constitution of Kenya 2010, on behalf of The County Government of Tan [b] of The County Governments Act 2012 as read together with Article 23 River wishes to invite applications from qualified persons competent for the positions,” read the notice.
The job positions include Architectural Assistant III (3 vacancies), Registered Nurse (20), Enrolled Nurse III (9), Support Staff III (15), ECDE Caretaker (57, contract), and Clerical Officer II (10).
Qualification For Each Advertised Job Opportunity
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Architectural Assistant III:
Applicants must hold a diploma or Technician Certificate Part III in Architecture, Building Construction, Building Engineering, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
They must be registered with the Architectural Association of Kenya and possess a certificate in computer application skills.
Registered Nurse III:
Candidates must have a diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Midwifery, Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, or Nursing/Midwifery from a recognized institution.
They must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya, hold a valid practising licence, and have computer application skills.
Enrolled Nurse III:
Applicants must hold a certificate in Kenya Enrolled Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Midwifery, or Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized institution.
They must be enrolled with the Nursing Council of Kenya, possess a valid practising licence, and have computer application skills.
Support Staff III:
Candidates must have a KCSE mean grade of D– (minus) or an equivalent qualification. A certificate in computer application skills is required.

ECDE Caretaker:
Applicants must have a KCSE minimum grade of D+ (plus) or KCE Division IV.
They must hold a certificate in Early Childhood Development Education, be registered with the Teachers Service Commission, possess computer proficiency, and have a Certificate of Good Conduct.
Clerical Officer II:
Candidates must have a KCSE mean grade of C– (minus) or an approved equivalent qualification. Proficiency in computer applications is required.
