Eric Ng’eno is a Kenyan lawyer, public policy specialist, and government speechwriter serving as Secretary for Policy Messaging and Speechwriting in the Office of the President.
Throughout his career, he has worked in litigation, legal advisory, public policy, regulatory affairs, and strategic communication.
He previously served at State House during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration and later returned to the Office of the President under William Ruto.

Eric Ng’eno began his legal career as an Associate at Nyaundi Tuiyott & Company between 2002 and 2004, where he focused on litigation and commercial law.

From 2005 to 2007, he practiced as a self-employed litigation advocate in Eldoret, handling commercial, property, family and probate matters.
He later became a Partner at Kipsang & Mutai Advocates from 2008 to 2009, specializing in commercial litigation, corporate legal advisory and corporate secretarial services, before joining the Kenya Sugar Board as Legal Counsel between 2009 and 2013.
Eric Ng’eno moved into government in 2013 as Senior Director, Messaging in the Presidency, overseeing presidential speeches, official messages and policy commentary until 2020.
He returned to Kipsang & Mutai Advocates as a partner from 2020 to 2023, leading litigation, legal research and advisory services.
