Car Dealer Khalif Kairo Turns to Ahmednasir for Help Amid Finacial Woes

Car dealer Khalif Kairo has met lawyer  Ahmednasir Abdullahi who offered to help him out of the legal battles that have befallen him.

Kairo posted a photo of himself with the lawyer and stated that he has received mentorship on topics ranging from business to law.

“Paid a courtesy call to Senior Counsel Ahmednasir earlier today and it was a privilege to get wise mentorship from him on a wide variety of topics ranging from law to business,” stated Kairo.

Ahmednasir defends Kairo

Earlier, Ahmednasir offered to help Kairo mediate the battles between him and his clients. He also called out those taking him to court for being inconsiderate.

“Taking to court isn’t how to treat young aspiring Kenyans trying to make money is a difficult and hostile business environment. I’m willing to mediate between him and the complainant and resolve this matter amicably. I can help,” stated the lawyer.

Ahmednasir went on to defend the lawyer saying that the challenges he is facing are typical to any business. He also spoke to those rejoicing at his woes yet they are not doing any better.

“He has some small second-hand car business that lately got him into trouble. But it sad to see some lowlifes rejoicing at his misfortunes. Good people, all types of businesses face challenges and difficult times. And this young man is facing business challenges,” added the lawyer.

Khalif Kairo charged with fraud

Khalif Kairo’s financial and legal challenges began in December 2024 when he was arrested for failing to deliver a high-end car despite the client paying the full amount.

In January 2025, he was arrested again over allegations of defrauding two clients. He was arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts for defrauding them Ksh2.1 million and Ksh2.9 million.

He was also accused of obtaining Ksh2.9 million through a fraudulent trick where he reportedly claimed to be in a position to import a car.

Kairo denied the charges and was released on a Ksh2 million cash bail.

The car dealer, whose real name is Joseph Kairo Wambui, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the car dealership company, Kai and Karo Limited.
