As 2023 ends, the entertainment space has experienced several high-end concerts with Kenyans favorite boy band bowing the stage for the last time after 20 years in the music space.
Other notable artists who grace various stages in 2023 included Boys II Men, Fally Ipupa, Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platinumz alongside several other Kenyan artists.
Some of the concerts to be remembered happened in 2023 with Sauti Sol splitting and the famous Boys II Men show which saw notable figures attend.
Boys II Men Concert
Kenyan RNB fans in June 2023 enjoyed a thrilling concert by the band Boys II Men who played their biggest hits in a live concert held at Uhuru Gardens.
The American musicians graced the stage on June 10 bringing Nairobi to a standstill as they performed some of their greatest hits.
Notably, the celebrated vocal band comprised of baritone Nathan Morris and tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman.
Moreover, Radio Africa Group partnered with Stanbic Bank for the second edition of the Stanbic Yetu Festival having Kenyan Boy Band Sauti Sol in the lineup.
The ticket price-tag was hefty, as expected, for fans who wanted to experience the four-time Grammy winning group.
Regular tickets were sold at Sh 8,000, VIP at Sh15,000 and VVIP AT Sh 30,000.
Dressed in all white, the boyband was received warmly by their eager fans, and they did not disappoint.
They sang top hits like I’ll Make Love to You, On Bended Knee and One Sweet Day- and they even gifted some fans with roses. However, a Song for Mama was, conspicuously missed from their line-up.
Sol Fest by Sauti Sol Concerts
Sauti Sol boyband dropped their curtains on the evening of Saturday, November 4, 2023, with a final concert as they marked an end to their musical era together.
The farewell concert, a poignant and heartfelt affair, unfolded at the iconic Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, as the boyband held a stunning performance.

Sauti Sol, one of the country’s iconic music groups consisting of Bien Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Savara Mudigi and Austin Chimano thrilled their fans in a sold-out concert as they performed one last time as a band.
Further, the two-day performance saw more than twenty thousand fans attend the event which went down in Nairobi on November 2, and 4, 2023.
Meanwhile the tickets which were going for Ksh 20,000 VIP and later rose after getting sold out to Ksh 25,000 saw the who is who flood the star-studded event.
Highly Ranked Kenyan rapper and singer Nyashinski, was among the artists who performed on stage with Sauti Sol which brought the crown to a standstill.

Other artists who graced the show include Nviiri and Bensoul whom Sauti Sol had featured in previous albums.
Despite high ticket prices, the event saw a huge turnout of fans, with the tickets being sold out within hours of opening.
Fally Ipupa & Tiwa Savage Concerts
Congolese superstar Fally Ipupa and Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage graced the stage in Nairobi in September 2023 alongside Nyashinski and South African female DJ duo TxC.
Further, the Mayday hit maker headline KBL’s Walker Town concert held in Uhuru Gardens bringing his fans to a standstill after over five years away from his last Kenyan concert in 2018.
The audience was treated to a musical feast, including hits like ‘Ecole,’ ‘Eloko Yo,’ ‘Juste Danse,’ ‘Nidja,’ ‘Original,’ ‘Service,’ ‘Posa,‘ and many more.
Likewise, Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage Joined him on stage making a highly anticipated return to Nairobi with her greatest hits.
Kenyan celebrated rapper Nyashinski was not left behind delivering an exhilarating performance leaving his fans wowed all through the concert.
