Police in Kaimosi, Nandi county are in pursuit of a 17-year-old boy who reportedly stabbed his cousin to death on Sunday, July 10.
According to detectives, the two got into a heated argument over who would start charging his phone first.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, and stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off,” the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said in a statement.
The deceased identified as Josphat Kibet, 31, was rushed to Kapsabet County Referral hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
