Africa Merchant Assurance Company Limited (AMACO) has announced a six-month graduate trainee programme for its various departments.
The programme is set to begin on November 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, in the departments of finance, underwriting, information and communication technology (ICT), marketing, human resource, and legal.
“The program is to develop young talent, to take up employment at AMACO and the insurance industry in Kenya. The graduate internship program will provide an opportunity to the successful candidates to gain on-the-job training experience expand knowledge, refine career goals, and build professional networks, mentors, and contacts,” an Amaco statement read.
For those interested in the programme, the closing date for sending applications is September 27, 2024.
Who Is Eligible for the Amaco Graduate Trainee Programme?
Anyone interested in Amaco’s graduate trainee programme should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, actuarial science, insurance, marketing, human resources, information and communication technology (ICT), or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
Applicants with a diploma in insurance from the College of Insurance will also be considered.
Additionally, an applicant should be a Kenyan youth aged between 22 years and 27 years and should present copies of their national identity card, NSSF, NHIF, and KRA PIN Certificate.

Interested candidates are requested to email their letter of application and a copy of their updated curriculum vitae (CV) indicating the reference number REF. NO. MRT/09/2024/003 quoting the relevant department of interest and outlining how they meet requirements for the position to the human resource manager hr@amaco.co.ke, career@amaco.co.ke.
