President William Ruto has announced that Kenya will host 4,500 delegates for the Inaugural World Chamber Federation’s Africa Summit 2025.
The President said this when giving his remarks during a business roundtable that was organized by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) during the 79th UN General Assembly session on September 23, 2024.
In his remarks, President Ruto said the following in part, “I am pleased to announce that Kenya will co-host the inaugural World Chamber Federation’s Africa Summit in Nairobi from April 9-11, 2025, alongside the International Chamber of Commerce and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”
At the same time, Ruto hinted that the event is a significant milestone for Kenya and Africa at large. He went further to highlight the countries’ growing global profile and its commitment to fostering investment and inclusive growth.
“I invite you to join over 4,500 delegates from around the world in this historic event. Welcome to Kenya, Welcome Home. We are open for business,” Ruto added.
Ruto Invites Investors to Kenya
On the other hand, during the event, President Ruto invited foreign investors into the Kenyan market and pledged his commitment to facilitate their seamless entry.
“I invite you to Kenya and assure you of my personal commitment to facilitating your seamless entry into the market. The Government of Kenya stands ready to provide all necessary support to ensure your investment is successful,” Ruto affirmed.
Moreover, Ruto highlighted that Kenya provides unrivaled access to the African continent through the world’s largest free trade area, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

He further elaborated that AfCFTA is an agreement that unites the 55 countries of the African Union. It comprises eight Regional Economic Communities into a single market with a population of 1.4 billion people and a GDP of over 3.4 trillion U.S dollars.
World Chamber Federation’s Africa
The World Chamber Federation’s (WCF) Africa Summit to be held in Nairobi Kenya will mark the first time such a summit is focusing on Africa.
Dr. Erick Rutto, who is the President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) made the announcement on Kenya hosting the (WCF) on July 26, 2024.
The (WCF) Africa Summit will bring together business leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The summit is aimed at fostering dialogue, collaboration, and economic growth across the continent.

WCF is the backbone of the global chamber network. It connects and inspires commerce chambers for the benefit of real economies and communities. It seeks to unite networks and represent the interests of local, national, regional, bilateral, and transnational chambers of commerce and industry worldwide.
