He explained that Aga Khan’s plan should be implemented to make the City Park more attractive like the Karura Forest.
“One of the things that Aga Khan was pushing for was to partner with Nairobi County so that they can preserve, protect and make City Park more friendly. Karura Forest has been made through a partnership with other people,” Mudavadi said.

“Perhaps as a befitting tribute, as we have this conversation around the environment, this is something that can be advanced so that we can live on positive ideas that were planned but not executed. We still have an opportunity to carry that forward.”
Mudavadi asked NMG CEO Joe Ageyo to rally support through the media house to ensure this dream is actualized in honour of his memory.

He stated that the plan is to make the Park better, user friendly and give it greater security so that people can walk freely like in Karura Forest.
Mudavadi said the plans will also allow for the protection of Ngong Forest and other areas.
“This is a very good moment so that Ageyo can help in rallying this message through his media house to galvanize for this very noble course to improve one of our good parks in Nairobi.
