President Wiliam Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, has landed a new role.
In a statement dated Monday, March 3, Charlene said that she has accepted the request to become Patron of the Association of County Students Association Presidents – Kenya (ACSAP-K).

“I humbly accepted the request to become Patron of the Association of County Students Association Presidents – Kenya (ACSAP-K).
“I wish to extend my deepest respect to all students and young community leaders across the country for working together towards a common vision, speaking with one voice, and committing to positive transformation,” read the statement.

Charlene Ruto Accepts Role to be Patron of ACSAP-K
Following her acceptance to take the role, President Ruto’s daughter pledged to remain available as their big sister to magnify students’ efforts, provide access, and midwife meaningful collaborations towards their collective success.
Besides her latest role as a patron of ACSAP-K, Charlene is also a patron of Smart Mechanized Agriculture & Climate Action for Humanity & Sustainability (SMACHS )

The Foundation is a non-profit organization that empowers young people to lead the fight against hunger and climate change in Kenya.
It seeks to usher in a new age of youth led and climate smart agriculture in order to create a future where young people are equipped to actively contribute to food security and climate action through smart, mechanized agricultural practices in three major thematic areas.

Charlene also holds another role as Kenya’s Blood Ambassador. She was appointed to this role by former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha.
In her role, Charlene collaborates with the Kenya Tissue and Transplant Authority from time to time in blood-related events.
Former CS Nakhumicha in a statement dated January 18 2024 said the Ministry of Health recognizes Charlene’s contribution to Kenya through blood donation advocacy and mobilizing the public to engage in blood donations.
