Kirinyaga Man Arrested for Defiling 2-Year-Old Daughter

A Kirinyaga man has been arrested for allegedly defiling his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter.

The suspect is being held at Wanguru police station in Mwea East, Kirinyaga County.

The minor was reportedly left behind by her mother, who had differed with her husband when the incident happened.

Alarmed and alerted by cries, residents rescued the toddler, but the man managed to escape.

Irate residents who were baying for his blood caught up with him. 

They frog marched him to Kimbimbi dispensary before locking him in one of the rooms and calling police.

 Mwea East OCPD James Mutua confirmed the incident.

Mutua said the two and half-year-old was undergoing treatment at Kimbimbi sub-County Hospital where a medical report revealed she had been defiled.
