Raymond Otieno’s Last Words Before Death

Slain activist Raymond Otieno had criticized the leadership of Molo Member of Parliament Kimani Kuria days before his mysterious murder.

Speaking at a burial in Molo, Oteino, who was popularly known as Molo President, called out the lawmaker for neglecting his duties to the people of Molo and concentrating on other national issues that do not make sense.

“When there is a problem, we must call out the government. I want to tell Kuria Kimani; we did not send you to oust Gachagua.

We did not send you to defend the finance bill and the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), while our parents are dying in hospital.”

He also told him that based on his position as finance chair in Parliament, he would know better on matters bursaries.

Otieno calls out Kimani Kuria

“You come back to Molo and work for the people. Leave SHIF alone. Now you are telling people to vaccinate their cows and when you come here you give our parents a bursary of Ksh 1,500 yet you are the finance chair at Parliament.

He also termed him a traitor and asked the people of Molo to unite.

“I want to urge the people of Molo that we need all their votes in order to chase away all traitors in Molo and in Kenya. And when I look around, I can see leaders. If you are unable to work go home,” stated the activist.
