A commentator on Iranian state television IRNA has hinted at an attack on American interests after an attack by United States President Donald Trump on its nuclear sites.
In remarks made on Sunday, June 22, 2025, the Iranian commentator stated that every American citizen or military personnel in their region is now a target.
“Every American citizen or military personnel in the region is now a target,” said the Iranian commentator on IRNA.
Early on Sunday, Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency confirmed that the Fordow nuclear facility had come under attack. The report cited an official who stated that air-defence systems had been activated near Isfahan and that explosions were heard in the area.
Iran Vows to Fight Back After Attack by US
Shortly after, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization released a statement vowing to continue its nuclear program despite the U.S. strikes on its key sites.
“The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran will not allow the progress of this vital national industry built with the sacrifices of our nuclear martyrs to be halted,” the statement, broadcast on state media, declared.

Earlier, President Donald Trump announced that US military had attacked Iranian nuclear sites including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors,” said President Donald Trump.
Trump Attacks Iran’s Nuclear Sites
After the attack, President Trump held a press conference at the Oval Office, warning Iran that it will not hesitate to attack it again if it will not cease firing missiles at Isreal.
“This cannot continue. There will either be peace or tragedy for Iran, far greater than what we have witnessed over the last eight days.

Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal, but if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill,” said Trump.
Trump’s warning comes amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran. Iran has been firing missiles in Israel in response to Israeli attacks on its nuclear and military sites. Earlier, on June 17, Trump called for Iran to surrender unconditionally.
He also said that the U.S. patience was running out and specifically warned against attacks on civilians or American soldiers.
