Ukrainian troops halted a Russian advance near Myrnograd by combining mobile tactics with tightly coordinated operations across several units.
Drone operators from the 7th Air Assault Corps, working together with the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade and supporting formations, successfully took out two Russian turtle tanks.
On December 3, the 7th Air Assault Corps reported that Russian armoured vehicles were advancing across open ground when one tank was stuck in an anti-tank trench.
The immobilized tank left the convoy exposed, allowing Ukrainian forces to deliver effective fire support.
Both tanks were ultimately destroyed, the defence ministry confirmed.
Operational Command Skhid (East) also stated that Ukrainian forces are working to secure extra supply routes to support their units in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, where combat operations are ongoing.
“In Pokrovsk, operations continue to identify, assault and wipe out enemy forces in the urban area. In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units are holding defensive lines and wiping out the enemy on the approaches to the city,” the Operational Command Skhid (East) stated.
Additionally, the Operational Command reported that additional supply routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are being established to ensure the continuous delivery of essential resources to Ukrainian units.
Meanwhile, Russian occupation forces suffered 517 personnel losses within the area of responsibility of Operational Command Skhid (East) over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian Drone Strike Energy Sites
Overnight, Ukrainian drone strikes in Russia’s western Oryol region ignited fires at multiple fuel and energy facilities, local authorities reported.
According to Moscow Times, reports also suggested that a Federal Security Service (FSB) building in Chechnya may have been damaged during the attacks.
Oryol Governor Andrei Klychkov confirmed that the attacks took place in the Livensky district.
“No injuries have been reported. Emergency services are responding and carrying out cleanup operations,” Klychkov wrote on Telegram.
The exiled news outlet Meduza stated that the Livensky district is home to the Livny Combined Heat and Power Plant, which supplies electricity and heating to Livny, the region’s second-largest city.
Additionally, Telegram reports suggest that the Orelnefteprodukt fuel depot, previously struck in January, is also located in the district.
In Chechnya, residents claimed that a Ukrainian drone strike heavily damaged an FSB building, though authorities have not confirmed the incident.

Drone Strike Disrupts Russian Airports
The Russian Ministry of Defence on November 21 stated that at least 33 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed across five Russian regions, including Crimea and the Black Sea.
The overnight attack occurred shortly after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed willingness to engage in “honest” discussions with Washington on a potential plan to end the war on November 20.
Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine would refrain from taking any actions that could undermine diplomatic efforts.
“Ukraine needs peace and Ukraine will do everything so that no one in the world can say we are upending diplomacy. This is important,” Zelenskyy said.
“The number one task for everyone is a constructive diplomatic process with America and all our partners. It is vital to have stable support for our army and all our planned defence operations and deep strikes.”
