The Azimio One Kenya coalition is on Saturday, August 13, set to host an inaugural conference for all its leaders elected in Tuesday’s general election.
Raila Odinga’s press secretary Dennis Onsarigo said the conference will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) from 10:00 am.
Those intending to attend the event have been asked to dress in Azimio’s blue colours.

The Raila Odinga-led coalition has so far secured 10 governor seats, 147 MP seats and seven Senate seats.
The meeting comes at a time the country waits for the announcement of the presidential results with bated breaths.

Raila faced off with Kenya Kwanza’s presidential candidate William Ruto in the August 9 polls. Others in the race are George Wajackoyah of the Roots party and David Mwaure of the Agano party.
Tallying of the presidential results is ongoing at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) expected to declare the winner before Tuesday, August 16.
