Chama cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria has submitted his name for nomination to the National Assembly.
Kuria’s party submitted his name despite him running for the Kiambu gubernatorial seat.
The move is seen as a strategic fall back for Kuria should he lose in the polls slated for August 9.
He is battling it out with Kiambu senator Kimani Wamatangi of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, former governor William Kabago (Tujibebe), Mwende Gatabaki (Safina) and incumbent James Nyoro (Jubilee).
On Sunday IEBC released submitted party lists submitted by political parties ahead of the August polls.
