Four more police officers from the disbanded DCI’s Special Services Unit (SSU) have been arrested in connection to the missing Indians and their Kenyan taxi driver.
The officers identified as Hilary Limo, Elkana Mugendi, Boniface Otieno and Fredrick Thuku Kamau are expected to appear at Kahawa Law court on Thursday, December 1.
The Wednesday arrest brings the total number of officers detained so far to 12.
Moreover, officials say the four officers will face charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and abduction.
Likewise, the suspects are expected to make a new case in court following an attempt to get their DNA samples for testing in an effort to link them to a crime. However, drama accrued after efforts to escort the other eight officers in custody for DNA extraction failed.
The suspects refused to go for the test on the advice of their defense lawyers.

Furthermore, the court had previously ordered a DNA test to be conducted at DCI labs: but was unsuccessful because the facility lacked equipment for the exercise.
When the investigating team went to pick them up for the samples at Government Chemists, they refused and said a court must order so.
Nonetheless, all the officers at the SSU were sent on a 30-day compulsory leave after the unit’s disbandment and are expected to report to the DCI headquarters in December for deployment and administrative action.
In addition, Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) detectives have maintained that the officers are linked to the forceful disappearance of the missing Indians, Mohammed Said Sami and Zulfiqar Ahmed who are claimed to have travelled to Kenya during the electioneering period and were working with a digital media team allied to President William Ruto.
