Azimio leader Raila Odinga has termed the invasion of his gas company and the Kenyatta family-owned land by goons as ‘cowardly’ blaming Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
An unknown number of people invaded the Kenyatta family land along the Northeastern Bypass, cut down trees and stole sheep on Monday.

Speaking to protesters in Kibra, the opposition leader said the demonstrations were in line with the law, unlike those invading other people’s property.
“Those cowards sent goons today to Uhuru Kenyatta’s farm. They have also resorted to sending people to my Spectre factory. That is an act of crime and stupidity,” Odinga told protesters in Nairobi’s Kibera area.
“We have followed the constitution in our politics and protests. Those invading other people’s farms and factories are cowards. Mr Gachagua, the so-called child of the Mau Mau!,” he added.
Odinga went on to encourage people to soldier on with the demonstrations as planned.
