Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi has advised Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to boycott the public rallies planned by Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
While speaking during a church service in Machakos County on December 4, Mwangangi called on the church to be at the forefront of establishing a dialogue between President William Ruto and Odinga to avoid disuniting Kenyans.
Moreover, the Machakos Deputy Governor also noted that Kalonzo should spearhead the talks alongside the church.
Likewise, Mwangangi urged President Ruto and Raila to prioritize the interests of Kenyans maintaining that dialogue is the way to solve the wrangles.
According to the deputy governor, demos will only bring more harm than good.
Nonetheless, the opposition leader’s plan to hold public demonstrations stems from the suspension of the four IEBC commissioners as well as what he terms as skewed public appointments.
