Motion to Remove the Dp.
Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has bashed Deputy President William Ruto and has further threatened that his impeachment is on the way.
Murathe disclosed that a motion got tabled to kick out the Dp from the party and punish him for indiscipline.
The Vice-Chairman referred to the sentiments from the summon letter issued to the DP on Thursday, January 21, adding that Ruto’s allies will also face Jubilee Party’s wrath.
Fault to Supporting Candidates.
The party vice-chair stated that Ruto got faulted for supporting the new party; United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidates in wards election within the Country.
“Those leaders, pushing for the UDA agenda including, the DP will soon lose their seats. Things are cooking wait and see.
They cannot claim to be our party members, yet they field candidates against ours. Maybe it is time to review the coalition agreement,” Murathe told the Nation.
Push to punish Dp’s Allies
Murathe stated that the Dp’s allies were defying the law by moving to the new party.
He further added that the law does not allow one to be in more than two parties.
Follow up on the Summon Letter.
Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju added that he would follow up on the summon letter issued to Ruto by Jubilee’s Nakuru Branch Secretary-General Peter Cheruiyot.
“The disciplinary committee is aware of the proceedings, and they will handle the issue and report to me.
“I will take them to the Jubilee National Management Committee, then the National Executive Committee will make a decision and seal their fate,” Tuju added.
