Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has assured that he is in good health after revealing that he had a minor prostate condition that was “successfully treated”.
In a statement on April 24, Netanyahu said the report had been delayed for two months due to wartime sensitivities, adding that he sought to avoid potential “false propaganda” from Iran.
“Today, my annual medical report was published. I asked to delay its publication for two months so that it would not be published at the height of the war, in order to prevent the terrorist regime in Iran from spreading more false propaganda against Israel,” part of the statement read.
Netanyahu revealed that a year and a half ago, he underwent a successful surgery for an enlarged prostate.
He added that since then, he has been undergoing routine medical follow-up.
Netanyahu Assures Public of Good Health
According to his doctors, the condition is common at his age, and they presented two options: either continued monitoring through regular surveillance or undergoing treatment to remove it.
He said that upon learning of the potential risk, he chose to address it immediately.
The Israeli Prime Minister said he proceeded with targeted therapy that removed the issue completely.
He added that the treatment involved a few short sessions during which he was able to continue working.

Netanyahu further stated that the abnormal finding has now completely disappeared and expressed gratitude for the outcome.
He also thanked the doctors and medical teams at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem for their care.

Death Rumours
In March, false rumors circulated online claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been killed in an Iranian airstrike.
The claims were accompanied by fabricated images and videos purporting to show his body covered in dust and debris.
The images and videos were later identified as AI-generated content.
Later that month, the Prime Minister held a press conference and once again dismissed rumors of his death.
Netanyahu dismissed the conspiracy theories about his death, stating, “First of all, I just want to say I’m alive, and you’re all witnesses.”
“Now that I have put this piece of fake news to rest, I would like to update you on Operation Roaring Lion,” he added.
