Insiders have compiled personal mobile numbers of several Members of Parliament (MPs) and shared them with the public in a push to reject the draconian Finance Bill 2024.
The Kenya Times did a fact check on some of the contacts and learnt that they were registered to the official names of the said MPs on the list.
Moreover, the list which contains accurate contacts of 36 members of parliament, was shared with Kenyans to influence them to send messages to the legislators and pressure them to reject the contentious bill.
Frustrated Kenyans sent messages to the MPs and called them throughout Wednesday, June 12 night, saying that they fear the Bill will be passed unanimously in parliament.

“They are sending me Ksh1 to confirm my identity. We are not voting tomorrow,” he said.
