Elseba K’Okeyo, the sister of Esther Akoth, aka Akothee sparked a debate after pulling down wedding photos with her husband. Also known as Cebbie Koks, Elseba raised eyebrows over her marriage following the move.
Following their lavish traditional wedding on December 28, 2022, Cebbie initially showcased glimpses of their marital bliss on her Instagram account, featuring glamorous photos and enchanting footage from their special day.
However, spot-check of her IG shows that Cebbie has unfollowed the husband, removed all traces of their wedding and holiday snapshots, and changed her IG name from Mrs. Ogolla E. A. to Elseba Awuor Kokeyo.
While rumours of their separation went vital in mid-2023, neither of them confirmed or denied about their relationship.
Cebbie dismissed the rumors, when she penned a heartfelt birthday message to her husband Lawyer Steve Ogolla. Strikingly, this post has also vanished from her IG feed.

In contrast, Ogolla still follows Cebbie, with a few lingering photos of them together visible on his Instagram account.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Cebbie has been spotted without her wedding ring in her latest photo.

A more skeptical user lamented, “Spirit of singlehood, yawah, God have mercy upon your people,” questioning the family’s overall track record in successful marriages, alluding to Akothee’s previous marital challenges.

Cebbie Koks wedded Steve Ogola in December 2022 with family and friends including Langata member of Parliament Phelix Jalango being in attendance.
Their wedding came just days after a beautiful proposal to which Ogolla popped the big question to the love of his life.
