Kenyan socialite Bridget Achieng’ has been blocked from coming back to Kenya, following an active arrest warrant.
The socialite who currently resides in Turkey faces arrest for alleged crimes that entail sex trafficking and fraud.
In 2021, Bridget moved to Turkey and began a job recruitment scheme shortly after settling in. She branded herself as a link for multiple jobs in Turkey through her social media accounts.
The scheme, however, opened a can of worms after women who had travelled to Turkey alleged that they were introduced to sex jobs. Others claimed that they were left stranded in a foreign country after the socialite cut communication with them.
Bridget Achieng’ duped Kenyans seeking jobs in Turkey
The affected women took to social media exposing the socialite and asking for help. The job recruitment scheme ceased to exist shortly after.
Bridget then came up with a new business idea following the collapse of the scheme. The business involved shopping for her online followers in Kenya who would like to buy things from Turkey and shipping the goods to them.

The business was also short-lived after she was bashed online for not sending items that had been ordered, despite receiving the money.
Bridget’s passport now contains a red stamp which blocks her from setting foot into Kenya otherwise she will be arrested.
How Bridget ended up in Turkey
While talking on a TikTok live, Bridget confirmed the state of the current affairs in her life adding that she intends to pick up her son and settle in a better country.

“I cannot enter Kenya because my passport is blocked. I am stuck in Turkey. If I enter Kenya, I will be arrested. It’s not like I can’t go to Dubai or anywhere else. But I say, why waste time instead of making sure that I pursue this case, pick up my son, and go to a better country?” said Bridget.
The socialite announced her departure to Turkey in July 2021 saying that she was going to celebrate her birthday. She, however, did not return to Kenya since, contrary to her fans’ expectations.
