The Universities Fund (UF) has announced vacancies for qualified Customer Care professionals.
UF in a notice on October one announced 50 opportunities for qualified Kenyans as Customer Care Assistants for a period of three months.
“The Universities Fund (UF) was established under section 53 of the Universities Act, 2012 for financing universities in Kenya. The Fund is managed by a Board of Trustees known as the Universities Funding Board (UFB) which has been in operation since 2016,” read part of the notice.
“In order to realize its mandate and its new Strategic Plan 2024-2027, the Fund seeks to recruit suitable and qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill the vacancies below.”
UF further listed the requirements for the applicants with successful candidates set to be employed under a 3-month non-renewable contract.
On the other hand, applicants who will be invited for the interviews are expected to produce listed documents.
Requirements for the UF Customer Care Jobs
Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, as well as transcripts during interviews.

Copies of National Identification Card and Curriculum Vitae shall also be required.
“Applicants should provide all the details requested for in the advertisement. It is an offence to include incorrect information in the application,” adds the notice.
Also, it is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents and academic qualifications of external origin MUST be accompanied with a recognition and equation certificate for foreign certificate from the relevant body in Kenya.
UF highlighted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

On the location UF highlighted that the assignment will be undertaken across all the Public Universities in Kenya.
Universities Fund lists application details
Interested candidates were directed to apply via the listed address and email (recruitment@ufb.go.ke). The deadline for application is 11th October 2024 at 5.00 PM East African time (EAT).
The candidates should enclose cover letter, CV with full details of education background, professional qualifications and relevant experience together with copies of testimonials, academic certificates and National Identity card.
The applications should be addressed to CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER UNIVERSITIES FUND HAZINA TRADE CENTRE 5TH FLOOR MONROVIA STREET PO. BOX 28237-00100 NAIROBI.

Also, the Universities Fund warned that it does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment.
