Maendeleo Chap Chap party Machakos governor candidate Francis Maliti is in limbo after his running mate ditched him.
Rose Wambua ditched Maliti’s camp to support former State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita.
Wambua says she realized that they were heading nowhere with Maliti and she had joined the winning team.
On Sunday, Wambua joined Waita for a church service at Mbondoni Catholic Church in Kangundo .
Wambua who spoke after the church service,said Maliti’s camp had so many problems that cannot be solved.

She later joined Waita and his running mate Florence Mwangangi in a joint campaign at Kangundo shopping center.
She claims that Maliti, who is the Machakos deputy governor has baggage with him and cannot clean the mess at the county.
Wambua observes that Machakos needs a “new broom” to clean the dirt and that aspirant was Waita.
Waita welcomed Wambua to his camp saying that her decision to join their team was a confirmation that party politics alone cannot salvage Machakos County.
He notes that problems facing the people of Machakos were beyond political parties
At the same time,Waita promised to form a government of unity if he wins the Machakos race
Consequently, Wambua has been promised a CEC position in Waita’s government
Waita is the Chama Cha Uzalendo(CCU) candidate
