Millicent Ndoro, a corporal of the Kenya Police Service, is recognized for her outstanding performance as a sprint athlete.
According to the Kenya Police Service, the corporal competes in 100m and 200m sprint races, specializing in representing Kenya on the global stage.
The Kenya Police Service has defined Millicent as a true symbol of speed, discipline, and national pride.
“Meet Millicent Ndoro, a corporal of police and one of Kenya’s standout sprint athletes. Specializing in the 100m and 200m, she has proudly represented Kenya on the global stage,” a statement dated April 22 from the Kenya Police Service read.
As part of the Kenya’s 4×100m relay team, Millicent has secured a bronze medal at the African Games and set a national record.
Early Life and Educational Background
Millicent Ndoro was born in Kisii County on September 19, 1986, with no public details about her educational background.
Through school sports, where she played as a football striker before specializing in the police service training pathways, Millicent developed her athletic skills.
As an athlete, Millicent’s recognition through national police championships and Athletics Kenya meetings began in the early 2010s.

Jobs and Career
Millicent specializes in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and relays, competing under the National Police Service (NPS) club.
Between 2020 and 2021, Ndoro took a break of nearly two years after giving birth to her son before returning to sprinting, according to the reports by Standard Media.
Working as a corporal with the Kenya Police Service attached to Central Police Station in Nakuru, Ndoro works serves in investigative roles and trains in martial arts.
During her training, Millicent Ndoro trains alongside male sprinters, including national champion Ferdinand Omanyala.
Her training venues include Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology (RVIST) Stadium in Nakuru, Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani, Nairobi, and Nyayo National Stadium.

Millicent Ndoro Achievements
Millicent was awarded the bronze medal in the women’s 4x100m relay at the 2019 All-African Games in Rabat, Morocco, with a set record of 45.44s.
Additionally, in the same games, Millicent completed the 200m semifinals in 23.94s and also competed in the long jump.
During the Commonwealth Games, Milicent had the top 8 finishes, with three appearances at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in the 100m/200m/4x100m heats.
In 2018, at the Gold Coast Games, she competed in the 200m semifinals; in 2022, at the Birmingham Games, she competed in the 200m semifinals.
Millicent has also excelled in Kenyan athletics, with her recent win at the 2026 Athletics Kenya (AK) meetings, and holds multiple 100m/200m national titles and podium finishes.
On March 6, 2024, she set a national record of 22.87s in the 200m sprinting race.
In addition to holding the national record in 2023, Millicent also set the national record in the 4x100m race at 44.75s during the 2015 African Games.
