Artists Duped as People’s Choice Awards Event Aborts

Artists and attendees were utterly disappointed after the  People’s Choice Awards failed to take place without prior communication from the event organizers.

Speaking to The Kenya Times, one of the artists nominated for an award narrated how the management stood up artists and attendees who showed up in numbers.

The artist, known as Jomonotics stated that the event looked deserted from the beginning. Banners and stands of the partners of the event had not been put up, something that was quite unusual.

Some of the partners for the event included MadFun, Motorhub, and Chicken Inn.

Media personalities Azeeezah Hashim and Tony Mwirigi were to be the hosts at the event.
