When news of DJ Bash’s quandaries hit the public domain, most media houses kept tabs on him in a bid to feed their different audiences with fresh updates.
While some media entities captured his side of the story correctly, some misinformed their readers and viewers.
The distortion of information got DJ Bash furious and he was left with no other option but to call out a popular local media station.
Taking to his Instagram page, the deejay shared a screengrab of the story aired by the said media house and asked them to always fact check before publication.
The entertainer reminded the media house to take their staff through the media code of conduct and ethics to avoid such blunders.
“If you’re a professional journalist for a reputable media house and write about me, at least have the decency to fact check. Now shut and listen to the next post… then go read your code of conduct and think about what right of reply is @citizentvkenya,” DJ Bash wrote.
This comes barely weeks after the deejay publicly admitted to have been battling depression.
As earlier reported by The Kenya Times, DJ Bash asked the public to give him privacy as he tries to heal from depression.
Previous reports had indicated the deejay sank into depression after his baby mama took away his son.
Unconfirmed reports intimated that DJ Bash’s baby mama left him for a wealthier mzungu sponsor.
